I have written over 20 modules that I teach. This interior design course covers everything from the History of Architecture and Design, Colour and the Principles and Elements of Design through to soft furnishings and Feng Shui and more. Classes are also available on individual topics as well.
These classes are open to anyone who would like to attend. Over the years, a lot of people who work in the design industry have attended this interior design course, as well people who are just interested in design or would like to have more knowledge to apply in their own homes.
I also train staff for retailers who work with the public in a design related industry, particularly in Colour and the Principles and Elements of Design.
The more knowledge retail staff have in design, the better they can help their customers, and the more likely they are to have happy customers and repeat business.
“We approached Gaye Adsett of Equilibrium Interiors about tailoring a colour and design workshop course to put all our sales consultants through, with the aim of giving them a better understanding of colour.
To be fair, we didn’t give Gaye a lot to go on, and despite this she did a fantastic job. We got 35 staff through over a two day period and the feedback was very positive. They found the course clear, educational, interactive, easy to understand, and interesting. Everyone went in with different levels of experience and abilities, and everyone came out with new skills that could be utilised within their daily roles.
Gaye has a very calm, friendly nature and was easy to understand. It was clear to everyone colour and design is definitely her passion. We would happily recommend Gaye to any other business looking to help improve the abilities of their team.”
